NWAFU Dancing Competition in 2019 --- Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains

  On November 28th, sponsored by the Youth League Committee of NWAFU and organized by College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the Dancing Competition of 19th Golden Autumn Festival on Science, Technology and Culturewas successfully held, which attracted over 2,000 audiences.

 

  Focusing on the construction of green and ecological civilization, the dancing competition was entitled Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains, aiming at enhancing the students’ awareness of resources-saving and environment-protecting. The competition consisted of three sessions: Dancing to the Melody, Dancing on the Lucid Rivers and Dancing in the Lush Mountains. There were 27 dancing shows given by the constants from 20 colleges or departments. The winners are as follows:

  1st Prize:  Blocking the Sandstorm  College of Natural Resources and Environment 
  2nd Prize:  Deep Love to Yunnan   College of Humanities  
  3rd Prize:  Longing for Greenery   College of Life Science

  1st Prize:   Vine and Leaves      College of Agronomy

  2nd Prize:  Bringing in the Wine   College of Chemistry & Pharmacy

  Session Three  Dancing in the Lush Mountains

  1st Prize:  Tea Fragrance Embracing Lush Mountains               College of Horticulture

  2nd Prize:  Spring and Life Transforming Wasteland  College of Food Science and Engineering

  3rd Prize:  Paean for Nature              College of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering

             Water Flowing around Crested Ibis Mountains

       College of Water Resources and Architectural Engineering

  With the charm of youth and spirit of vitality presented in the shows, the dancing competition brings the audience a great visual feast. In addition, the dances precisely and vividly interpret the concept of "Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains are invaluable assets”, improving the students’ understanding of significance of ecology and environment protection and expressing the students’ firm belief in and determination to protect the beautiful mountains and clear waters of our nation.
