On November 9th, the 3rd Student Congress and the 3rd Graduate Student Congress of NWAFU were successfully held.

Guided by Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the congress fully implements major work arrangements of the 19th National Congress the Party, the Party Congress of NWAFU, the 26th Congress of National Students Federation and the 10th Congress of Provincial Students Federation. With strengthening the political guidance to students as basis, serving the students wholeheartedly as purpose, the congress conveys the voices and opinions of the Party to the students in a timely manner, unite and lead all students to enhance the “four consciousness”, strengthen the “four self-confidences”, and achieve “two maintenance”, guide the students to consciously integrate their personal ideals into the common struggle of the Party and the people, and strive to be a socialist builder and successor with all-round development of morality, intelligence, physic, art and labor.

The congress summarized the work since the 2nd Student Congress and Graduate Student Congress, further clarified the functional orientation, reformed operation mechanism of the student organizations, and established the reform and development goals of student organizations in the new situation.The work report of the 2nd Student Union Committee and the 2nd Graduate Union Committee of Northwest A&F University were reviewed and approved. The Constitution of the Student Union of Northwest A&F University (Revised Draft) and the Constitution of the Graduate Student Union of Northwest A&F University (Revised Draft) were reviewed and approved, the third Student Council and the third Graduate Student Council of Northwest A&F University were elected respectively.
