The Research Report on Integrated Demonstration and Standardization of Agricultural Technologies in SCO Member States was initiated by NWAFU’s SCO Institute of Modern Agricultural Development in 2021 and led by Professor Ruan Junhu from the College of Economics and Management. As a representative research outcome of the Institute’s think tank program, the project aims to promote the exchange of agricultural technologies amongst SCO member states. Specifically, it focuses on the problems of non-unified agricultural technology standards, technical standard barriers during the trade of agricultural products, and the lack of a mature system for cooperation and communication on agricultural technologies and standards. The report adopts a three-part structure, from basic, constant, and cooperative identification to the unification of technical standards, and then to the formation of mechanisms and patterns. Consequently, it is divided into four parts: “Report on the Development of SCO Member States’ Major Agricultural Product Trades,” “Analysis of the Standards of SCO Member States’ Agricultural Product Trades and Design of a Smart Service Platform,” “Preparation Report on Key Technical Standards for Major Agricultural Products of SCO member States,” “Report on the Model of Integrated Demonstration of Agricultural Technologies in SCO Member States.”
