Four NWAFUers Awarded Honorary Title of the 11th Youth Leader as Facilitators for Rural Prosperity of China

  On November 29th, sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Communist Youth League of China (CYLC) Central Committee, the awarding ceremony of the 11th Youth Leader as Facilitators for Rural Prosperity of Chinaand the first debriefing session for youth pioneers in rural revitalization were held in Beijing.NWAFUers, Zhu Mingqiang, Lei Ming, Cai Shibiao, and Tan Taotao won the honorary title of Youth Leader as Facilitators for Rural Prosperity of China.

  The honor of Youth Leader as Facilitators for Rural Prosperity of China is co-entitled by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Co mmunist Youth League of China (CYLC) Central Committee, an award of the highest level for the outstanding young people in the field of agriculture, rural areas and farmers affairs. It aims to develop and unite a group of young personnel to fling into the rural revitalization with their talents. The selection activity was initiated in 2002. This year, there are 10 Pacesetters of Youth Leader as Facilitators for Rural Prosperity of China and 318 Youth Leader as Facilitators for Rural Prosperity of China. NWAFU enjoys the most winners among the colleges and universities in China.

  As one of the keynote speakers, Mr. Zhu Mingqiang shared his experience in starting a business for the promotion of industry revitalization. He is one of the numerous NWAFUers who followed the instruction of national strategy and the “Three Rural Issues”, and practiced Xinong Spirit in their striving to fulfill the dreams of entrepreneurship and contribute to the development of China’s rural area.

  In recent years, NWAFU has always focused on the innovation and entrepreneurship education, highlighting the thorough integration of rural revitalization education, professional education and innovation and entrepreneurship education. As solid progress of the reform inFirst and Second Classrooms of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education achieved, a group of young people with expertise and passion in agriculture have been widely acknowledged for their contribution and outstanding performance in industry advancement, who are selected as examples of agricultural entrepreneurs. The campaign of Youth Leader as Facilitators for Rural Prosperity of China, CCTV China Entrepreneurship Model, National College Student Entrepreneurs and National College Student Entrepreneurs in Rural Area further enhances the NWAFU’s leading role among the fellow agricultural and forestry universities.
