“Animal Nutrition”Course Launched On China University MOOC

  Recently,the "Animal Nutrition”course hosted by Professor Yao Junhu from College of Animal Science and Technology was launched on the "China University MOOC”. The second batch of online courses will be held on March 25th.

  The course is jointly designed by Yao Junhu, Yang Xiaojun, Cao Yangchun, Yang Mingming, Yang Xin and other teachers. It focuses on the fields of animal health, nutrition efficiency, and food saving and environmental protection. It integrates teaching resources such as teaching materials, courseware and test questions. It also integrates watching videos, participating in discussions, submitting homework and ultimate examination into the teaching process, providing students and the majority of animal husbandry workers with free and high-quality learning resources.

  Since the launch of the course, it has attracted many animal husbandry enthusiasts who love animal nutrition research and want to learn animal nutrition related knowledge. The number of participants in the first batch of courses alone has reached 3857.The second batch of courses will be officially launched on March 25th. The course includes 11 chapters and 34 sections. Up to now, nearly 1000 people have registered online. The successful launch of animal nutrition MOOC has enabled every person who is willing to improve their nutrition knowledge to receive free quality education, providing a way to understand animal nutrition and pursue a healthy life, and to expand the influence of the university and college.
