From January 14th to 15th 2016，Professor Jan Hopmans, deputy dean of International Affairs from College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences of University of California-Davis(UC Davis)，visited Northwest Agriculture & Forestry University. President Sun qixin and some deans from NWAFU had an in-depth discussion with Professor. Jan Hopmans.

During the visit, Professor Hopmans introduced UC Davis, delivered a report on study abroad, and visited NWAFU’s National Key Laboratory of Crop Stress Biology for Arid Areas, College of Agronomy, College of Natural Resources and Environment and other colleges and institutes.

NWAFU and UC Daivs signed an official cooperation agreement in 2000. Since then the two sides have conducted frequent exchanges and yielded fruitful academic collaboration.
