In October 2015, President Sun Qixin of Northwest A&F University signed Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

Per NWAFU Sino-US Joint Center for Food Safety, and Agricultural Products Quality and Safety and Industrial Cooperation Seminar held by Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, NWAFU and Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences would conduct material cooperation in regards to food safety in the year 2016.

Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, General Office of Shaanxi Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences, the Research Institution, and College of Food Science and Engineering of NWAFU joined the seminar which would strongly promote mutual cooperation between the two parties.
