On December 18th, “Shaanxi Good Man List” (Nov.-Dec.2015) was released, which is jointly elected by Propaganda Department of Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and Shaanxi Civilization Office. Wang Jinyi, a chemistry professor from College of Sciences of Northwest Agriculture & Forestry University, stood out of the “Shaanxi Good Man List” for his professional dedication. He was the second NWAFUer to win this honor, and the first was Wang Hui, an expert on wheat breeding.

Wang Jinyi, a professor of College of Sciences and doctoral supervisor, specializes in the research and teaching on microfluidic chip technology, micro-nano biotechnology and pharmacology. He was granted New Century Talent Support Project by Ministry of Education and was selected as the torch bearer for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. In addition, he has been receiving special government allowance from the State Council and has hosted 4 projects from the National Natural Science Foundation. He also published more than 80 SCI papers which was quoted over 1000 times, and participated in the editing of 2 English monographs.
