It has been eighty years since December 9th Student Patriotic Movement erupted. Early in the morning around 6 o’clock, NWAFUers had gathered to the square to wait for the flag-raising ceremony.

At 7am sharp the ceremony started, flag guardians marched in measured steps to guard the Five-Starred Red Flag to the flag tower. Accompanied by March of the Volunteers, the flag rhythmically rose up. NWAFUers in attendance sang the national anthem to express the deep respect.

Zhang Chi, Vice president of Student Union, demonstrated on behalf of all the students that history will be memorized; NWAFUers will take December 9th students as example, and start from small things to contribute to the realization of Chinese nation's great rejuvenation.
