Recently, Zhao Zhong, executive vice president of Northwest A&F University paid a visit to Mr. Cao Dewang, a famous philanthropist and Chairman of Fuyao Glass Industry Group in Fuqing, Fuzhou Province.

On behalf of all students and faculty at Northwest A & F University, Zhao Zhong extended his sincere greetings to Mr. Cao Dewang and heartfelt thanks to his financial support, reported the development of scholarship recipient students and offered an invitation to Mr. Cao, with the hope that he could lecture on his inspirational experience. Mr. Cao said that he would continue to render financial support to NWAFU so as to foster more and more excellent talents for society.
To support the development of education course and aid the needy students to finish their studies and encourage their self-improvement, Mr. Cao Dewang, chairman of Fuyao Glass Industry Group Co. Ltd, donated 15 million yuan and set up Cao Dewang Scholarship in 2007, providing financial aid to 300 students with 1.5 million yuan annually, 5,000 yuan per student per year till the end of their undergraduate study. So far, the scholarship has been implemented for 8 years, 2,400 students have received this subsidy and 12 million yuan in total has been donated.
