On the morning of November 5th 2015, the opening ceremony of the 22nd China Yangling Agricultural Hi-Tech Fair (CAF) themed “Innovation Leading Characteristic Modern Agriculture” curtained up.

“One Belt One Road” and “Internet + Agriculture” were highlighted at this year’s Fair. During the 5-day fair, traders from 43 countries would present new technology and products of modern agriculture, exchange new modern agriculture mechanism at home and abroad, and release over 1500 latest achievements of agricultural science and technology and over 3600 agriculture related patents.

Under the organization of Ministry of Education, Northwest A & F University (NWAFU), Zhejiang University, Jilin University, China Agricultural University and other 13 universities participated in the exhibition. 66 panels were laid out, over 200 latest scientific and technological achievements in agriculture were displayed and more than 1000 agricultural scientific and technological achievements were published on CAF journals.

NWAFU’s new apple variety attracts the attention.

NWAFU provides CAF journal with 571 patents, 50 agricultural technological achievements and 50 new varieties of crops. The latest achievements will be simultaneously released on NWAFU micro blog, we-chat and website. Over 300 student volunteers serve for the event. In addition, more than 40 teachers from NWAFU participate in the consultation and training activities in support of the 100-expert Advisory Group.
