On October 16th, Northwest A&F University WIFI project phase I was launched, which announces that NWAFU officially steps into the Age of Mobile Internet.
Network Center started phase I of Campus WIFI project in July, and completed it in early September. Phase I covers student apartments, library, main teaching area, with total access points of 1,800. After careful adjustment, trial run of phase I was launched on September 16th.
WIFI users have been steadily increasing since trial run. On September 20th, WIFI users for the first time surpassed wireline users, and since then except National Day Holiday, WIFI users have been outnumbering wireline users as below chart displays:

Construction of Campus WIFI goes along with the trend of education informationalization, and it promotes the transition of campus living and work/study.
