The Unveiling Ceremony
On October 13th  2015, the unveiling ceremony of NWAFU Baishui Apple Experimental Station was held at Luochuan County.

Ma Fengwang, the Chief Expert, made a brief introduction of Baishui Experimental Station.
Luochuan Apple Experimental Station was founded in 2012 under the collaboration of NWAFU and Yan’an Municipal Government. It tackled a series of scientific research focusing on some key issues in apple industry. The station made a technological innovation that the arborescent Fuji apple blossoms and bears fruit in the second year after being planted, set up a typical example for its yield of dwarf rootstock seeding 1500 kilo per mu within three years in Yan’an region, and made possible the establishment of demonstration districts at six main production counties. In addition, the station is well equipped with offices, greenhouses, laboratories, tissue culture labs, fields for scientific research, meteorological station, insect condition prediction devices and videos.
Since the founding of the station, a series of work concerning scientific research, product promotion, student internship, technological cooperation and exchange has been carried out. So far, over 3,000 farmers from Luochuan county and other places in and out of Shaanxi Province have come to visit and study at the station.
