US NEWS Released 2016 World University Rankings

On October 6th , 2015 USNEWS(U.S. News & World Report) released 2016 World University Rankings. NWAFU’s Agriculture Sciences ranked 42 on the list, 25 higher than the 67th of last year. This was the first time NWAFU ranked among world Top 50.
The rankings of every specific indicators of NWAFU’s agriculture sciences are: Global Research Reputation ranks 190th, Regional Research Reputation 29th, Publication 20th, Standard Citation Influence 122nd, Total Number of Citation 18th, the number of highly cited papers 20th, the percentage of highly cited papers 112th, and International Cooperation 41st.
7 universities in mainland China are among US NEWS 2016 Global Agriculture Sciences Rankings. They are: China Agricultural University (4th), Zhejiang University (17th), Jiangnan University (21st), Nanjing Agricultural University (23rd), South China University of Technology (29th), Northwest Agriculture & Forestry University (42nd) and Huazhong Agricultural University (78th).
NWAFU ranks 699th on US NEWS 2016 World University Comprehensive Rankings and 65 universities in mainland China enter the list.
