On the afternoon of September 7th, alumnus Wang Tongchuan’s donation ceremony was held in International Communication Center. Wang donated RMB 30,000,000 to NWAFU to set up “Wang Tongchuan Encouragement Scholarship”.
From 2016 to 2045, Wang Tongchuan will make an annual donation of RMB 1,000,000 to the university. The fund will be used as scholarship for 100 undergraduate students who have high scores but under-average family conditions; each student will be prized with RMB 10,000 annually, and if they keep progressing, they can be awarded for four consecutive years; Every four years will a grade be prized. This scholarship will be highest scholarships so far in NWAFU’s history.
