To further implement the strategy of cultivating undergraduates’ global outlook, 14 excellent students were selected from College of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering. Led by Associate Professor Li Xingshu, they went to Great Britain for summer visit.

From July 20th to 31st,2015 the group visited the beautiful campus of Harper Adams University (HAU). In HAU, it was novel teaching modes and pure British English that made students’ ability of communication improve in a short time. What’s more, practical teaching was rich and colorful. A series of specialized courses and practical programs in agricultural engineering impressed the students with unique British way of talents education -- "An engineering student upon entering university is a true engineer. ”

This overseas visiting program offers students a valuable opportunity to study and communicate with other universities worldwide as well as to broaden their horizons. Hopefully, this three-week visit will improve their English and lay a good foundation for their future study and scientific research.
