On July 31st, Qintao I and Qintao II passed the expert preliminary examination held by Shaanxi Fruit Variety Committee. The two new peach breeds were selected and bred through decade’s research led by Prof. Han Mingyu of our university .

Experts in the pre-examination believe that the two new breeds have strong adaptability and can be planted widely. Their cultivation is significant to China’s richness of peach germplasm resources and farmers’ income increase.
