To further promote education internationalization of NWAFU, increasingly cultivate students’ global outlook as well as better and faster realize the strategic aim "to construct world first-class agricultural university”, on July 21, 2015 led by the College of Water Resources and Architectural Engineering, 41 undergraduates arrived in Oklahoma State University (OSU) in the United States for the 20 days’ visit and a series of exchange activities.

This visit is the third stage of summer visit program at OSU. Through visit, classroom communication and practical teaching, students broadened their global outlook, had deeper understanding of their major, developed keen interest in scientific research, got to know the modes of education management in the United States and had a clearer goal of further study abroad.

"It is on July 22, 2015 when I arrived in OSU, and it’s such a beautiful campus. In the process of learning and practice, instead of teaching how to use the devices and programs properly, OSU encourages students to design and improve them independently. Students there spend time on sports and exercise. To them, it is as equally important as study.” said Ma Yao.

"But we are not so ready for the cultural differences. However, by talking with Americans, we do practice our English. Although it is difficult to be fluent, we do dare to say. It is so kind of the teachers and students here to listen to us carefully with smile and with slow speed. ”said Zhao Can.
