Meeting 2015 Summer Visiting Students

On June 15th , Andy Jones (Teacher and Executive of Teaching and International Cooperation Project of Harper Adams University), Peter Bloxham (Harper Adams University China Office Director), and Haiqi Wang (Teaching Project Executive) visited NWAFU.

At the Meeting

NWAFU vice president Luo Jun met the delegation. Both sides achieved consensus regarding joint supervision of postgraduate program. NWAFU will elect distinguished students from selected disciplines such as forestry, food science and engineering, and agriculture science etc. to study for the master’s degree. The establishment of Confucius Institute was also put on agenda. NWAFU will soon conduct an official meeting with the Office of Chinese Language Council International.

Visiting Teaching & Development Center

The delegation also visited A&F Center for Teaching and Learning Development, and had an informal discussion with Center directors on teachers’ training. Later, the delegation met the students of A&F College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering who are visiting Harper Adams University this summer, and gave detailed answers to questions of visa application and the visiting program.
