At 09:06:16 on April 26th, followed by a crowd of marathon participants, the first runner, No. 22856 stepped into south campus of NWAFU from the east gate. It marked that the 2015 Yangling Marathon officially jumped into our university’s embrace.

Alongside the field track on campus,the sprouting crape myrtle, swaying palms and flourishing gingko were extendingwarm welcome to their special guests, the energetic runners. Cultivation Square, Cultural Ecology Park, YouthSquare, Track and Field Stadium,Neem Square, Football Field, Four Seasons Square, and Wetland Parkwere sequentially presented.As the fountain was dancing, flowers blossoming, and birds singing in deep trees, the clear water mirrorsthe sky, silhouetting the  landmarks of NWAFU, such as International Exchange Center, Research Activities Building, University Library, and Building of Agricultural Research Center. All the breathtaking scenery come alive at themarathon athletesflooding into the campus.

Themed on Modern Agriculture, Modern Life, the 2015 YangLing Marathon enjoyed a considerable scale of 10,000 participants, including 2500 full-marathon runners, 2500 half-marathon runners, and 5000 mini-marathon runners. The finishing line for half marathon was set on NWAFU campus.

It has been estimated that more than 300 teachers and students of NWAFU participated in the can-not-miss event. In addition, our university has made great contributions to the success of this event, for providing over 50 referees, 1,000 student volunteers, 84 security guards, 50 national flag guards and 36 medical staff.
