NWAFU Student Ji Xing Won Tennis Team Bronze Medal in the Mass Tournament of the National Games

From September 19th to 25th, the tennis competition of mass tournament in the 14th National Games was held in Jingshan Tennis Park, Hubei Province. Ji Xing, a graduate student of NWAFU, participated in the competition on behalf of Shaanxi Province as the key member, and finally won the bronze medal of women's team, gaining honors for Shaanxi Province and NWAFU.

The National Games is the highest-level event in China. 28 teams from cities all over the country, nearly 300 people participated in this tennis competition. According to the rules of the first singles, the second singles and doubles, Ji Xing, being shouldered with important tasks, play in different matches with dedication. On the tennis court, Ji Xing, adhering to the university motto of "Honesty, Austerity, Courage,Perseverance", fully carried forward and practiced the indomitable sportsmanship. She won the Guangxi team with 2-0 in round of 16, and the Henan team with 2-1 in round of 8. In the semi-final, he faced the strong Zhejiang team, and lost with 7-3 in doubles. Finally, Shaanxi Women's team won the bronze medal and has achieved the best result in tennis of the mass tournament. In view of Ji Xing's perfect performance and good spirit, she was awarded Sportsman Morality Prize by the organizing committee.
