Recently, the award ceremony of the China Pen·National Home Design Competition was held in Guangzhou. The work"Xuanjiang Chair”designed by NWAFUers stood out in this competition and won the "Creative Design Award” － the highest design award for the Wood Science and Engineering majors of our university. This great success fully demonstrates the high professional level and strong design ability of NWAFUers in the realm of furniture design. It is of great evidence of our university’s efforts and success in greatly promoting the connotative development of majors and improving the quality of talents, in accordance with the undergraduate-education-centered principle.

　　The well-known competition attracted more than 4,000 teachers, students, designers and professional designers from nearly 100 colleges and universities all over the country. All the winning entries of this competition will be exhibited at the 11th Guangzhou Home Design Exhibition.
