Associate Professor Cui Caixian
Basic Information
Associate professor Cui Caixian was born in Heyang County, Shaanxi Province in May 1971. At present, she is a teacher of College of Humanities, Northwest A&F University, MA student supervisor of this university. After graduating from Northwest University of Politics and law and got her Bachelor’s Degree there in 1997, she was assigned to be a teacher in Northwest A&F University, where she got her Master’s degree under the supervision of Professor Tian Yiwen In 2007,she was invited to be a visiting scholar in University of Colorado in America.

Academic Achievements
Chiefly engaged in the study of the development of rural society, She has successfully directed and completed “Green Towns Construction and Management in Western Rural Areas”(National Science Foundation in 2012), now she has directed “The value function research of town culture ecological under cultural geography”(National Science Foundation in 2013) and she also participated in many national ministerial or provincial research projects. She has successively published over thirty academic papers in Science of Society and Management, Northwest Population Journal, Journal of Northwest University, Journal of Northwest Forestry College and so on.
In recent years, she has put more attention on researches of sociology of rural, the problems of villages and market towns and so on.
