Associate Professor SI Hanwu
Basic Information
SI Hanwu, born in Jingning County, Gansu Province in December, 1963, is a Associate Professor as well as a instructor of master students in Northwest A&F University. He is a sociologist of theory. He has been a teacher since he graduated from Department of Soil and Water Conservation in the Northwest Forestry College in 1986. In 1990,his second bachelor’s degree in law was conferred in Political Educational Department of Shaanxi Normal University. From August, 1990 to March, 1999, he had been teaching the moral and legal foundation courses in Northwest Forestry college. Since August, 1999, he had been teaching courses about sociology. He is outstanding teacher of Northwest forestry college (1997) and Northwest A&F University (2011). He is outstanding instructor of "Students Technology Innovation Project ”

Theoretical Sociology, Institutional Sociology and Social Pathology
Since participate colleges and universities teaching and research work, Professor SI finished Chinese Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences and Shaanxi Province Philosophy and Social Science project number. Theses projects include "Objectives and Ways of Shaanxi Rural Modernization”(2002-2006), "Irrigation Grassroots Management Reform and Monitoring Evaluation of Guanzhong "(2002-2004), "Research of the Institutional Rationality and Harmonious Society Construction”(2007-2011), "Research of the Social Capacity of Technology and its Economic and Social Impact”(2010-2013), ”Relationship Research of Knowledge, Technology and they Impact for Rural Refinement Development”(2012-2014) and "Knowledge, Technology and the Intensive Society "(2013-2014).
Currently working on "Social Pathology”, "Market Sociology” and "Alienation and Civilization” etc other issues of Philosophy and Social Sciences. Mainly responsible for undergraduate and graduate students teaching of Western theory of sociology, social work theory , mental counseling and guidance, logic and so on.
Academic Achievements
Since his graduation from the Northwest Forestry College, Professor SI has long been devoted himself to the research on the Chinese social development and philosophy social science research. In recent years, he independent and guide student published more than 70 papers, representative are: direct knowledge and its impact for human civilization, the status and role of knowledge for intensive society building, the social capacity of technology and social innovation ability,From the expansion of the service economy to see the limitations of value theory of labor. He had been published 5 individual academic monographs. These monographs are Mental and Crisis:Introduction of Critical Psychology, Tradition and Beyond: Modernization of Chinese Peasants and Rural, Institutional Rationality and Social Order, Technology and Society, Knowledge, Technology and the Intensive Society. Among them, the "Institutional Rationality and Social Order" won the Outstanding Achievement Award Philosophy and Social Sciences in Shaanxi Province, "Mental and Crisis" won outstanding Achievement Award of Shaanxi College Humanities and Social Sciences .
