  Gong Zhiwen is a forest economics and land use policy lecturer. and research fellow at Department of Agricultural & Forestry Economics, College of Economics & Management, Northwest Agriculture & Forestry University. Gong’s work and research interest spans the Silviculture for forest biodiversity conservation in natural forest; Optimal timber rotations in forest management; Forest land/cover changes; Payment for ecosystem services program in degraded fields. Gong visit study in University of California, Berkeley from 2017.11 through 2018.11. Received the Ph.D.from Department of Forestry, College of Forestry, Beijing Forestry University majoring in Forest Management from 2006.09 through 2009.06.Gong has been published more than thirty papers and books "Forest Management”, "Technological Economics”. Gong also hosting some research projects funded from National Natural Science Foundation of China, such as "Optimizing Forest Management: Based on Biodiversity in Qinling Secondary Forest.”,"Ecological Compensation Mechanisms for Sustainable Basin Management Based on Land Restoration.”and "Analysis of Driving Forces for Land Use/Cover Changes in Northern Shaanxi after Implementation of Sloping Land Conversion Program.”
