College of Economics and Management

　　The College of Economics and Management(CEM) of Northwest A&F University was founded in 2000 by three institutions，including the combination of College of Economics and Trade of Northwest Agricultural University，the Department of Economic and Management of Northwest Forestry College and the Research Institute of Agricultural Economics of Shaanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences. CEM has 125 full-time faculties, including 31 professors and 46 associate professors. In the past five years, the college has undertaken the Major National Social Science Projects, the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Social Science Foundation, the State Key R & D Projects，more than 100 scientific research projects at provincial and ministerial level,, and over 10 international cooperation projects. More than 20 items were awarded the provincial ministerial science and technology progress award and philosophy and social science outstanding achievements；more than 30 monographs, textbooks, translated books and more than 900 research papers were published, citied by SCI,SSCI,EI, more than 20 advisory reports were made the comments from officials of different government departments. At present, CEM adheres to the combination of basic research and applied research, and improves the multi-discipline development, the college persists in close integration of production schooling and research, to form the stable characteristics and advantages research area of agricultural industrial economy, rural finance, resource economy and environmental management, poverty and anti-poverty, rural governance and rural revitalization, etc.

　　CEM has one post-doctoral mobile station, and Ph.D program of Economics and Management of Agriculture and Forestry, which includes 5 disciplines with Economics and Management of Agriculture, Economics and Management of Forestry , Rural Finance, Rural and Regional Development, and Resource Economics and Environmental Management. Among them, Economics and Management of Agriculture is the national key discipline, Economics and Management of Forestry is the provincial key discipline, and Economics and Management of Agriculture and Forestry was listed "B+”. There are 2 master disciplines with Economics and Management of Agriculture and Forestry and Applied Economics; 3 professional master disciplines with Finance, Agriculture and MBA; 9 undergraduate disciplines with Economics and Management of Agriculture and Forestry, Accounting, Land Resources Management, Business Administration, International Economics and Trade, Marketing, Economics, Finance and Insurance. It is the national top talent training model innovation experimental area and the university characteristic discipline construction point, the Finance science is the Shaanxi province school characteristic discipline, the Economics is the school class famous brand discipline.
