Kong Rong, born in 1967 in Urumqi, Xinjiang, a professor and doctoral supervisor at College of Economics and Management, Northwest A&F University. 1999.09-2002.07, she studied at Northwest A&F University for PhD degree. 2001.10-2001.12, she visited the Department of Agricultural Economics, National Chung Hsing University.2006.01-2007.02 and 2015.09-2015.10, she studied in the Department of Applied Economics and Management of Cornell University as visiting scholar. In 2005 and 2009, she was selected as the Youth Academic Elite Support Program and the Top Talent Support Program of Northwest A&F University. Now, she is working at the college of Economics and Management, takes charge of the Research Center for Business Administration and a vice president of Shaanxi Agricultural Economics Association. Her teaching and research fields mainly involve in agricultural economics management, rural finance and risk management, and regional economics management. She is a member of China Agricultural Economics Association, International Agricultural Economics Association, the Chinese Economists Society, and acts as anonymous reviewer of International Journal such as Agricultural Finance Review, China Agriculture Economics Review, and also National Natural Science Foundation of China, Humanities and Social Sciences Planning Project of the Ministry of Education, Post-doctoral Fund of the Ministry of Education. As a visiting scholar, she studied at Cornell University and National Chung Hsing University for several times. She also visited Canada, Britain, Germany, New Zealand, Finland, Japan, South Korea and other countries for academic exchanges and cooperation. She has hosted 3 National Natural Science Foundation of China, 5 provincial and ministerial projects, and other more than 10 projects. So far, she has published more than 100 papers in domestic and international authoritative and core journals such as China Agricultural Economic Review, Chinese Rural Economy, Issues in Agricultural Economy, Journal of Agrotechnical Economics, etc. In addition, she published 3 books.
