Jiang Zhide is a professor at College of Economy and Management in Northwest University of Agriculture & Forestry in China. As an interdisciplinary scholar focusing on the combination of economics and ecology, he has long been engaged in research activities and postgraduate training in the fields of agro-ecology, resource economy and environmental management, and regional sustainable development. In the past ten years, the ecological management of small watersheds and the sustainable use of land resources, the ecological compensation mechanism of soil and water conservation in the Loess Plateau returning farmland to forests, the response of agriculture to climate change and low carbon agriculture behavior, the integration of modern agricultural industry and the pattern of technological innovation and other issues to carry out research and exploration. He has hosted or participated in 20 national research projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Science and Technology Support Program and key research and development projects, the China CDM Fund Grant Project, the Ministry of Water Resources and the State Forestry Administration, and published a monograph on the topic of cooperation. In the 6 research reports, more than 130 academic papers were published as the first author and correspondent. Recent Research Interests is that: (1) Quantitative analysis and incentive mechanism research of low carbon cycle agriculture. (2) Research on technology selection and behavioral mechanism of ecological restoration in vulnerable areas. (3) Research on rural revitalization strategy and modern agricultural industrial system construction.
