Wei Xiaomei, Female, born August, 1957 in Gangu County of Gansu Province. Professor. Early or later August, January, 1982 graduated in Dept. of Hydraulic Engineering of Xi'an University of Technology and work in Northwest Agricultural University. From 1992 and 1996 obtained the Master Degree and Doctor Degree respectively in Northwest Agricultural University.
Affiliation: Member of Agricultural Soil and Water Engineering Committee of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering; Member of the Teaching Guide Committee for the Hydrology and Water Resources; Editor of the Journal of Groundwater and Journal of Water resources and Water Engineering ; Member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference of Shaanxi Province.

Development and Management of the water resources; Water transfer theory and allocation technology.
3. Teaching Courses
Up to now, she has hard worked on teaching and scientific research, lectured 3 courses as Water Resource Discussion, Dynamics of Groundwater, Utilization of Groundwater for the bachelor student, and 4 courses Research Progress of the Water Resources, Water Resources, Evaluation of Water resources and Allocation Technology for Water Resources for the postgraduate students.
She has accumulatively fostered out 31 Master degree Students and 4 Doctor degree student, at present has undergraduate 6 Master degree students and 3 Doctor degree students.
4. Scientific Research and Academic Achievements
(1) Scientific Research Subjects
Participated and Finished two Chinese National Natural Science Foundation Projects and one Doctoral Fund Project. Now she is charging of one of the National"Eleventh Five”Scientific Support Plan Subject and one Shaanxi Water Conservancy Science-Technology Projects.
(2) Main Publications
During present years, she has published more than 40 scientific papers early or late in the Transactions of the Chinese Society of the Agricultural Engineering, Advances in Water Science, Journal of Northwest A&F University—Natural Science Edition and so on, Chief editor 1 Textbooks and 4 Professional Books. Obtained 2 Computer Software Copyrights Register.
(3) Professional Contributions
2006 "Three water transfer mechanism and water resources optimal allocating model in loess plateau” project obtained the Second-Class Prize for Sc.& Tech. Progress by Shaanxi Province.
