Abstract: Based on online-offline fusion, the agri-fresh O2O mode plays an essential role in alleviating the logistics bottleneck of agri-fresh e-commerce. Compared with the heavy asset path, the light mode has the advantage of low cost, but there is the difficulty of achieving a profit-making win-win cooperation between the online commerce and offline shop. Most current studies in this field focus on deterministic demand under traditional supply chain framework, which cannot reflect the multi-agent decentralized decision-making in the light O2O mode under stochastic demand. To overcome the above deficiency, this research proposes the inventory control strategy and coordination mechanism. First of all, based on the newsvendor model, considering both demands of online and offline, also the perishability of fresh products, the optimal replenishment policy under the centralized decision-making is proposed, and the coordination contracts are designed. Then the pricing decision is introduced, based on the joint optimization inventory-pricing strategies to achieve the system revenue maximization, the coordination contracts are proposed. Taking into account of the limitation of complete information sharing hypothesis, the study analyzes the operation performance of both sides under partial coordination. Finally, an empirical study is conducted to verify the decision models and proposed strategies in above study.
Profile: Dr. Li Zhengdao, born on Jan. 1984, Shanxi Province. He got the Doctor degree in Systems Engineering from School of Econ. & Mgmt., Beihang University (BUAA), in July 2011, then joined the Department of Management Science, College of Econ. & Mgmt., Northwest A&F University. Currently, his research focuses on the Agri-fresh supply chain operations optimization and coordination, and his research is founded by MOE (Ministry of Education in China) Projects of Humanities and Social Sciences, Natural Science Foundation of Shaanxi Province, and Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities. In recent years, his research has been published in CIMS, Journal of Systems Simulation, and Industrial Engineering Journal.

Summary: Based on the theory of farmer behavior and behavioral economics, this paper sets out to construct wheat farmers’ individual response mechanism in outsourcing technology-intensive processes, explore the relationship between crop farmers’ cognition, the willingness of outsourcing and their outsourcing behaviors, as well as the influencing factors of outsourcing behaviors. Multivariate Probit model and Poisson model are used in empirical analysis. In particular, we use 2015 data from 631 wheat farmers in Henan and Shanxi Province. Descriptive and regression results show that (1) There are obvious positive correlations among the different technology-intensive stage outsourcing behavior of wheat growers. (2) the awareness of technology feasibility in technology-intensive stage, the awareness of effectiveness to outsourcing willingness have significant impact on the outsourcing behavior of wheat growers, (3) The main influencing factors of outsourcing behavior of wheat growers in technology-intensive sectors include Migrant workers' wages, Wheat scale, the age of the head household, the years of education, the years of planting, Technical Training.
