Introduction of the Reporter:
Wenju Zhang, professor in Institute of Agricultural Resources and Agricultural Regionalization, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Vice secretary of China Society of Soil Science, the outstanding young scholar of the third Soil Science Society of China in 2012, and the excellent young talent cultivation plan of the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Agricultural Regionalization, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Wenju Zhang’ work focus on soil carbon cycling and transformation, especially in the soil organic carbon dynamics and model simulation, organic carbon quality evolution and stability mechanism under intensive management model. She has hosted or participate more than 10 projects, which included the National Natural Science Fund, 973 projects and other projects. She has published more than 60 papers, and there are 24 papers were publishend in the international journal, e.g. Science of The Total Environment, Journal of Environmental Management, Agriculture Ecosystems & Environment, Scientific Reports, Global Biogechemical Cycles, J Soils Sediments, Biogeosciences, Plant & Soil. She has gained several Scientific and Technological Awards, published books as well.
