Dr. SUN Qiang got his master’s degree from Yang Zhou University and was appointed to faculty upon graduation. He received his PHD degree from Shanghai Institute of Pharmaceutical Industry and works as the director of the Suzhou Non-human Primate Facility in Institute of Neuroscience, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Sun Qiang’s major research interests are:

1、Construction of transgenic non-human primate models by using lentivirus injection.

2、Construction of genomic modified non-human primate models by Talen, Crisrp-Cas9 methods.

3、Using the testis xenografting method to accelerate the reproduction cycle of non-human primate models.

4、Using the Crispr-cas9 method to develop more efficient gene knock-out or knock-in Technology.

Related work was published in Nature, PNAS, Cell Research and other academic journals.
