Brief introduction of speaker:
Yaosheng Wang, enrolled in the ‘Youth talent program’ of CAAS, got his Ph.D. degree and also worked as Postdoctoral fellow in University of Copenhagen. He also obtained the teaching diploma for assistant professor and above from the same university. His researchesare focusing on plant eco-physiology under biotic and abiotic stress, agricultural water and nutrient management, and water-saving irrigation new theories and technologies. The emphasis has been put on deficit irrigation strategies, chemical, hydraulic and nutrient signals under drought stress and high efficient uptake of water and nutrients. He is currently/has been PI or the main participants for many research projects of National Science Foundation of China, EU PF7, Ministry of Science and Technology and so forth. He has published more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 18 of which are in the SCI-indexed journals. He has been the assessment reviewers for the National Science Foundation of China and the National Science and Technology Award. He has been the reviewers for over then international journals such as Journal of Experimental Botany, BMC Plant Biology, Environmental Science and Technology, Plant and Soil and so forth.
