Introduction of the speaker:
Professor Li Ren, born in June of 1959 in Beijing, Ph.D. in engineering, is a doctoral supervisorin department of soil and water sciences, college of resources and environment, China Agricultural University. He is currently invited to serve in the water resources committee of Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society, environmental geology committee of Geological Society of China, hydrogeology committee of Geological Society of China, water resources committee ofChina Society of Natural Resources, academic committee of Geological Research Canter for Agricultural Applications, China Geological Survey. Prof. Ren has been an editorial board member ofJournal of Hydraulic Engineering and Hydrogeology & Engineering Geologyfor many years. His research fields include soil physics and agrohydrology. His main research area in recent years is the simulation and evaluationonsustainable utilization of agricultural water-land resources and environment. The following courses are lectured by Prof. Ren for undergraduates and graduates, including the numerical simulation of underground water, soil hydrodynamics, soil physics and soil solute movement. He has published one academic monograph and nearly 100 academic papers in domestic and international journals.
