Introduction:

Professor YU’s research focuses on the efficacious material basisand mechanism of TCM complex prescriptions, biotechnology of TCM, resources chemistry of TCM, and development of new drugs from TCM. Aiming at the top-quality TCM materials, he is constructing a technical platform of TCM evaluation and translation by integrating multiple modern methods to enhance the level of safety and quality, interpret the action characteristics, understand the efficacious material basis that adapts to clinical indications, and create new drugs of TCM with clear mechanisms, definite therapeutic effects, controllable qualities and proprietary intellectual property rightsTo date, 11 monographs, 32 invention patents and more than 300 papers have been produced.
