Research& Outreach: the most definitive impacts have been adjustments to State Design Standards for several stormwater practices. The adjustments, accepted by NC Department of Environment and Natural Resources administrators, incorporate applied research findings. Portions of the state’s stormwater BMP design manual have been reviewed and amended by Dr. Hunt and his research team. This manual serves as guidance for all future stormwater projects.
