Introduction of Professor Liqun Du:
Prof.Du is a doctoral supervisor of Hangzhou Normal University. He has been to Idaho Universityas a visiting scholarand then performed his postdoctoral work in Washington State University. He engaged in the research of the molecular mechanism of plant signal transduction, and mainly focus on Calcium/Calmodulin-mediated signaling of plant cell in response to environmental stress and plant microbe interactions.Professor Du has obtained a breakthrough in the interpretation of analyzing calcium/calmodulin-mediated signal pathway. Meanwhile,He accumulated a wealth of research experience in the aspects of plant biotechnology, biochemistry, molecular biology and so on. Besides, he specializes in various technologies of protein-protein interactions, including studying protein interactions in yeast and plant cells, as well as a variety of protein co-precipitationtechniques.
He won thefinancial support by National Science Foundation Committee (joint), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS Major), US NSF and Washington State Department of agriculture projects. Above all,he won the Zhejiang higher school "Qianjiang scholars" in 2013 and be selected as Zhejiang Province "one thousand people plan" candidates in 2012. He has published more than 40 papers in high level academic journals of Life Sciences, including papers in Nature (2 articles), Plant Physiol., Mol Cell Proteomics, Plant Journal, and so on.

Warmly welcome all teachers and studentsto participate in!
