Introduction of speaker:
Prof. Dr. Adamo Domenico was born in Drapia in 1966, he got his master and PhD degrees at the Bologna University. Dr. Adamo Domenico is now Professor of Viticulture at the Bologna University, Secretary of the Bachelor Degree of Viticulture and Oenology, and representative of the Bologna University for many national and international cooperation. Prof. Dr. Adamo Domenico is aninternationally distinguished expert inOrchards and Vineyards, his main research areas are: 1) plant response mechanisms to abiotic stresses; 2) development and management of highly sustainable no-waste agricultural systems, 3) nutrition and soil management of fruit tree crops, 4) development of highly sustainable agronomic strategies for improving fruit quality and healthiness, 5) organic and biodynamic viticulture, 6) physiology and canopy management of training systems for grapevine, 7) physiology and physiological disorders of grape berry, 8) Development of innovative methods for assessing berry quality, 9) rescue and cultivation of ancient grapevine and olive varieties. He is also the Technical Consultant in civil cases for the assessment of damages in Agriculture.
Prof. Dr. AdamoDomenicohas published more than 140 papers in national and international journals,2 book chapters, with H index of 17. Prof. Dr. Adamo Domenicohas been serving many international scientific committees and the editorial boards, and he is referee of several international Journals (Australian Journal of Grape and Wine Research, Plant and Soil, Plant and Cell Physiology, Plos one, Frontiers, PhysiologiaPlantarum, Plant Physiology and Biochemistry, and Journal of Plant Physiology etc.).
