Reporter introduction:
Prof. Yong-An Zhang is a senior Investigator and team director in Institute of Forest Ecological Environment and Forest Protection,Chinese Academy of Forestry (CAF),and Director of North China Forestry Experimental Center, CAF. He is a famous Entomologist for his outstanding contribution on biological control of forest insect pests in China. He is also the vice chairman of the entomological society of China, vice chairman of the entomological society of Beijing and core committee member and secretary general of forest insects branch of China forest society. Prof. Zhang achieved milestone in his research field and completed many key national grants also, such as developed the artificial diet forHyphantriacunea, developed lots ofnew bio-insecticide and newpest controlmethodology usingsterileinsect technique. He was honored with many national level awards includingthe award of national science and technology progress. Till now, he had published more than 40 scientific articles, joined in the editors of 3 books and harvested 2 patents for invention.
