Introduction of Speaker:
Dr. Shi-Jiang Lu obtained his Bachelor degree in 1978 from Department of Biology and Biochemistry, University of Wuhan; his Master degree in 1985 from Tumor Research Institute of the Union Medical College, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. He went to the Cancer Research Center of Columbia University (USA) in 1986 and obtained Master degree of public health, University of Columbia in 1988; and obtained his Doctor degree in 1995 from Ontario Cancer Institute, Department of Medical and Biophysics, University of Toronto (Canada); then did the Post Doctoral Research at Toronto Sunnybrook Medical Center.
Dr. Shi-Jiang Lu was Director of Stem Cell Research Center, Pediatric department, University of Illinois Chicago branch (USA); Director of Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Research Center, Cha Biotech of Korea (Korea); Senior scientist and director of the Advanced Cell Technology (USA). He has published over 50 scientific research papers in the peer reviewed journals, including Nature, Nature Methods, Nature Protocols, PNAS, Blood, Cancer Research, Cell Stem Cell and Stem Cells etc.
