Introduction：
Professor Cui work at Ecole des Ponts Paris Tech, selected by the 1,000 Talents Plan in 2010. He obtained bachelor degree at Tongji University in 1984 and got Ph.D at Ecole des Ponts Paris Tech in France in 1993. Professor Cui worked in the field of unsaturated soil including the strength and deformation properties of unsaturated soil, the soil water retention of unsaturated soil, etc. He has published 135 papers, including 35 papers in top journals such as Geotechnique, Canadian Geotechnical Journal, etc.
