Introduction of Speaker:

Dr. Qingmei Guan is a distinguished professor in the College of Horticulture at Northwest A&F University. Prof. Guan obtained the Bachelor and Master degree from Northwest Agricultural University in 2002 and 2005, respectively; and the Ph.D degree from University of Maryland in 2013. Prof. Guan mainly focuses on the molecular mechanisms and molecular breeding of apple in response to abiotic stress. In the past years, Prof. Guan published over 20 peer-reviewed papers in distinguished journals. She is also the editor of several scientific journals, including Journal of Integrative Agriculture and Stress Biology. In addition, she was awarded seven research funding since she joined NWAFU in 2014.
