  Dr. Li Jun,Male,born on Feb. 10, 1964, Professor in crop science and agroecology, College of Agronomy, Northwest A & F University. 

  Educations: 

  1985-1989,Bachelor degree of Agronomy, Dept. of Agronomy, Northwestern Agricultural University; 1989-1992, Master degree of Agronomy, Dept. of Agronomy, Northwestern Agricultural University; 1995-1998, Ph.D. of Agronomy, Dept. of Agronomy, Northwestern Agricultural University; 2000-2002, Post doctorate of Soil Science, Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Chinese Academy of Science.

  Research Interests: 

  Agroecology in dryland areas; High efficiency of farming system; Digital farming technology.

  Teaching Courses: 

  For undergraduate: Science of farming system; Information technology in agriculture. For graduated student: Precision agriculture technology; Progress of crop science research. 

  Projects & Achievements:

  Hosted and participated in nearly 20 research projects, mainly focused on high efficiency water use of dryland, deep soil desiccation of loess plateau, simulation of crop water productivity, conservation tillage of dryland grain field, drought resistance and disaster reduction farming system, crop nitrogen and phosphorus nutrition and growth remote sensing monitoring. Currently take charge of two research projects: the National Key Technologies R & D Program of China "Research and demonstration of grain and efficiency increased technology on the loess plateau region (Shaanxi)(2015BAD22B02)” and the National Natural Science Foundation of China "The mechanism of  effect of rotational conservation tillage on dryland grain yield in high plain and gully region of the loess plateau(31571620)”. Also participate in three projects: the National High-tech R&D Program of China (863 Program) "regulation techniques of light utilization processes in crop production environment (2013AA102902)”, the Special Fund for Agro-scientific Research in the Public Interest of China "research and demonstration of high- efficient water utilization of rainfed farmland on the loess plateau (201303104)” and "reasonable tilth layer construction technology index and integrated demonstration of rainfed Heilu soil on northwest loess plateau (201503116)”.
