Liu Gang, PhD., Associate Professor, State Key Laboratory of Soil Erosion and Dryland Farming on the Loess Plateau，Institute of Soil and Water Conservation. Dr. Liu mainly focuses on water erosion processes, identification of sediment resources, paleoclimate and palaeoerosion, and soil management. In the past 10 years, Dr. Liu participated in more than 20 national or international research projects as principal investigator (PI), has published more than 70 peer-reviewed articles, and gained more than 10 honors and awards.
