The Second“Silk Road International Symposium for Distinguished Young Scholars” Yangling Sub-Forum Held

A galaxy of talented people gathered together, enhancing friendship and seeking common development. On November 16th, at the conference room 208 in International Cooperation and Exchange Center, 38 young talents from home and abroad gathered in NWAFU and attended the second "Silk Road International Symposium for Distinguished Young Scholars” Yangling sub-forum in Shaanxi Province to exchange academics.

Based on the five discipline groups, including crops in arid areas and stress biology, animal biotechnology, efficient use of agricultural water and regional water security, soil and water conservation and ecological environment, and agricultural products processing and nutrition & health, the two-day forum was hosted respectively by Professor Yu Fei, Professor Zhang Yong, Professor Cai Huanjie, Professor Liu Baoyuan and Professor Yue Tianli. Thirty-eight NWAFU teachers from College of Agronomy, College of Life Sciences, College of Horticulture, College of Plant Protection, College of Animal Science and Technology, College of Veterinary Medicine, College of Water Resources and Architectural Engineering, College of Natural Resources and Environment, College of Forestry and Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, introduced their scientific research in the form of reports to the participants, exchanged academics, communicated ideas and looked for integrating points as well as areas and space for cooperation.
