Brief introduction of Wenwen Li:

Wenwen Li is currently an associate professor (tenant professor) of the School of Geographic Sciences and Urban Planning of Arizona State University (ASU), a senior scientist at the ASU Sustainability Center, a co-professor of the Department of Computer Science, an honorary professor at the ASU Barrett Honors College, Director of CyberInfrastructure and Computional Intelligence Lab (http://cici.lab.asu.edu), Deputy Director of the Space Information Science Research Center. Her research is focused on WebGIS, space-time big data, artificial intelligence and knowledge mining, and scientific visualization. Her research results are widely adopted in fields related on geoscience and social science, such as land use and land cover changes, Arctic climate change, biomass estimation, extraction of geomorphological features, etc.. During his tenure at ASU, as a principal investigator, she presided over a number of projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of the United States, with a total award of more than US$1.7 million. She has published more than 70 papers in many well-known international GIS and remote sensing journals, including 40 SCI papers. At the same time, she is also the winner of the Professional Achievement Award by the National Natural Science Foundation (NSF). This award is the highest honor by the NSF for outstanding young American professors..
